Hello friends, Today I like to share my reverse canvas Fairy Garden mixed media project. I always wanted to do a fairy garden and when I bought the Papericious Fairyland paper pack, I immediately knew I have to make one. The paper pack had two embellishment sheets of fairies, mushroom, bunch of roses, butterflies and humming bird which we can fuzzy cut.
I reversed the canvas and covered it with the fairy land paper. I planned to use a single paper for covering the canvas, but I got the measurement wrong and ended up using bits of paper to cover the canvas. I love swing and I wanted them swing to be the centre focal attraction. I used 1/8” satin ribbon as the rope, I actually braided the ribbon to give more volume and it also resembled the creepers. The base of the swing was a small wood disc. I used the fairy from the embellishment to sit on the swing.
The fake lawn added more greenery and forest for the fairy land. I used a waste box and glued them on the front of the canvas to make a platform. The fake lawn , embellishment like wood disc, ladybug, mini mushroom was added to the fairy garden to add more mystery. My daughter had a small book which we added in the fairy garden for the fairies to read 🙂

- Canvas size: 6” * 8”

- Papericious premium edition paper pack – 12”*12” Fairyland
