Super Hero

Raakhi, watch video tutorial to make it

Materials used

  • Thick mount board
  • Sharpie permanent marker (You can use any marker, acrlic or poster colour)
  • Satin ribbon
  • Distress Ink – Squeezed lemonade
  • Distress oxide – Broken Chinam Fired brick
  • Card base
  • Glue
  • Circle stencil or compass
Captain America

In a thick mount board, draw concentric circles using the circle stencil. First draw circle with larger diameter, then move on to smaller diameter circle. Colour the circle with red marker. Use Captain America logo for reference, red, white, red and inner circle will have a star and will be in blue colour. Stick a star sticker inside the circle and colour the circle blue. Cut the mount board and glue it on a satin ribbon.

Once you are happy with the raakhi, make the greeting card, I have used Stencil and distress ink to create the effect, but kids you can use colour pencils, crayons or paints to make the card design. Draw the same logo on the card, and write You are My Hero. Keep the rakhi, exactly on top of the logo drawn on the card and apply tape on the ribbon on back of the card.

So now, you can tie the Raakhi for your brother and still you will have a Super Man or Captain America Rakhi card.
