DIY Kitchen Decor

An easy DIY kitchen wall decor, decorate your home or gift a friend who loves to cook. I was recently browsing internet and saw a photo of bowls stacked, I fell in love with the bowls, I kind of liked it and thought it will be beautiful to make it as a wall decor. I limited my colors to blue, white and red as part of of Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

Materials used:

  • White Gesso
  • Acrylic paints – Red, blue and white
  • Scrapbook sheet 12*12
  • Modpodge
  • Paper plates

I cut a small paper plate in half , it will exatly look like a bowl when you turn them back. I coloured the plate with acrylic paints. I cut flowers from a scrapbook paper and pasted in a paper plate, the plate was primed with Gesso and coloured with white acrylic paint.

In blue and red plate , I used Gesso and a stencil to make polko dots. Glue the plates on a scrapbook paper, you can mount them in a shadow box, or you can frame it. I used the quote “My kitchen My Rules” to say I am the boss of the kitchen.
